I have been interested in helping people overcome challenges, improve their lives and expand their experiences ever since I became a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist in the mid-1990s. Even as a small child, my friends always looked up to me as a leader and someone they could come to for advice. Astonishingly, even adults respected and trusted my opinion. So I think, in many ways, I’ve been a Life Coach my entire life. Growing up, my life was a far cry from the lollipops and sunshine descriptions you hear from so many others. I always felt like I was this drunken little song-bird thrown in a nest of owls. Not having a place to call my own (lack of inner-peace), not knowing how to be or where I belonged (insecure). I didn’t have a role-model or anyone at all to teach me about love or “self-love”, confidence, inner-peace, beauty, strength, or any of those vital foundational attributes that children need in order to flower and grow into healthy, happy, secure adults. Yet, through all of my struggles and the ups-and-downs in my life, one thing that has always remained constant with me has been a profound streak of kindness, since of duty, and compassion toward others.
Something else that has never left me that has been an unrelenting guiding force in my life has been a strong inner-voice. That immutable voice that keeps you up at night and persistently harasses you during the day, that never allowed me to totally give up on myself or throw in the towel. This voice, which I believe was my soul infused with the spirit of God that allowed me to see my way through the darkest of times and bring my being into the light.
I am so very grateful that I have gained enough wisdom, understanding and knowledge that I can now take on a leadership and teaching role in society and do good work to help others in so many ways. If I just merely help ease someone else’s burden, or help expand their consciousness, or even help them realize their value and self-worth, or overcome a painful past, I feel so very useful and that I am truly alive and am living well.
I coach people in all areas of life: executives, professionals, athletes, artists, and individuals to help them grow and maximize their strengths, reach their potential, and achieve results. I mostly work one-on-one with clients, but now I’m expanding my skill-set to lead workshops where I teach tools to help others become more spiritually grounded, balance their lives, gain self-confidence, become self-motivated, improve their relationships, achieve goals, gain clarity, and become their highest and best selves.
My passion for health, fitness and personal transformation led me to become a Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant over 20 years ago. I train clients in all aspects of physical fitness and whole food/functional nutritional practices. I love animals and nature and enjoy spending time with and caring for my cats, and going out into parks and forests to meditate, relax and to watch and study birds. I honor and admire trees of all kinds and have learned so much from their wisdom, strength, and grace. I’ve been a free-lance and ghost-writer for many years and have aspirations to become a novelist. I donate a portion of my profits to worthy causes and tithe at least 10% of my earnings to individuals in need. I am a student of life and I love that there is never an end to Universal Wisdom and Life Lessons.

More About Sage
There are so many things I could say about myself, but one thing I would like people to know about me is that I’m a “cloud buster”. This is my personal moniker, because this is how I see myself when I reflect on my life’s journey. Today, I’m so grateful that my life is my own. I’m so grateful that I’ve found truth…universal truth. I’m grateful that I have created a life that is filled with love that feels authentic. I’m grateful to be free. I’m grateful for the abundance, beauty, and grace that my life is filled with. I’m grateful that I can trust the universe who always has my back. If someone were to ask me how I see my life, I would say…”I see my life being about the evolution of my soul. I see my life being about expressing and experiencing the part of me I love most. The part of me that is compassion, and patience, giving and helping. The part of me that is knowing and wise, forgiving and, love.”
This is a far cry from my insufferable beginnings. When I speak and write about my life I’m compelled and humbled to tell my whole story. For the words I’ve stated above could’ve never poured from my face or leaped from my pen not even as recent as a decade ago. For the sake of brevity I’ll say this: “A child broken-hearted and worn, tattered and torn, lost in the abyss of loneliness and sadness, has risen above a life divested of love to ascend to Gods’ realm of happiness.”
My gratitude runs deep. I’m in awe each day at how my life has unfolded. I’m grateful for the serendipitous moments in my life when things could have surely gone the other way. I cannot recall exactly when it happened but whilst enduring my most wretched state of despair, an unfurling, a stirring of my soul revealed to me the blessing of forgiveness. This was the turning point of my life, the very first step on my prodigious path to enlightenment. It didn’t happen like the big bang, but it was a rebirth, a new beginning, and a gradual expansion. “Before where my heart was troubled with doubt, it now beats with renewed spirit and vigor.” Once forgiveness was enthroned in my heart my life changed.
“Less pain without more wisdom defeats your purpose and does not allow you to experience infinite joy.”
Fast forward to today, I’m aware that I’m on a spiritual path. I’m aware of my inner navigator that guides me along the way. I’m aware of my life purpose. I’m a life teacher and coach. I call it my “soul work” because it has truly enriched and enlivened my soul.
“If we are to be great, we must take responsibility to help others learn, explore, think critically, and grow within.”
When people see me I want them to know that in one way or another I’m living my purpose. My purpose is to heal and to teach, to make those I come into contact with happy, to be a bringer of light, an expression of God’s love, and to create peace.
We all have a wondrous purpose for our lives. ”Ask and you shall receive.” Seek and you shall find.” “Knock and the door shall open onto you.” (notice the acronym ASK).
One of the many pearls of wisdom that I’ve learned in life is this: “You must let go of who you are to become who you want to be.” Again, “you must let go of who you are to become who you want to be.” This is a profound truth and it is how I can call myself a “cloud buster”. “Formerly, life gave me many cloudy days, but now those clouds have fallen away and I’ve made my own Sunshine!”
